Session QFx101: What the Flex?
This session is intended for developers who are new to Flex and want to gain a solid foundation in the technology. The session is fast paced and assumes that the developer is already familiar with basic programming concepts (i.e. functions, variables, scope, classes, objects, XML, and may have written an application or two). The session will last two hours and will cover the following topics.
- ActionScript Fundamentals
- Managing the Display List
- Multimedia: Video, Graphics, Sounds and Objects
- Data Handling/Sources
Participants will need to have broadband Internet access (>512k) and have the ability to install Adobe's Connect software on their computer prior to the session.
Following the session, participants will be given a session outline, an archive of session examples, and a link to download the recorded session.
